Project Overview
Cyclodextrins - North America
Cyclodextrins are a class of compounds, naturally occurring and synthetic, that are clathrates with hydrophobic cavities and can form inclusion compounds with organic substances, salts, and halogens. This project involved use of cyclodextrins to provide a reservoir of a mild oxidizer in aqueous solution and to sequester undesired compounds and oxidation products.
