Transitioning to energy systems that emit net zero greenhouse gases in the next 20-30 years can help limit global temperature rise to less than 2 degrees Celsius. Innovations and implementation of new, non-emitting energy technology can come from start-ups and small businesses, nimble and capable of adapting to changing market conditions.
